Mindgruve is hiring a contract UI/UX Designer to design marketing websites that are clear, compelling and easy to use. This is a temporary contract role focused on translating brand strategy, messaging and content into well-structured, visually strong web experiences.

• Design responsive marketing websites for desktop and mobile
• Create site structures, page layouts, wireframes, prototypes and final designs
• Work with clients to understand goals, content and audiences and turn those inputs into effective page designs
• Present design work internally and to clients and clearly explain your decisions
• Partner with project managers to define scope, requirements and deliverables
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are built accurately
• Contribute ideas that improve clarity, usability and visual impact

• 3-5+ years of professional web or UI design experience (internships excluded)
• Experience designing marketing or brand websites
• Comfort leading and participating in client conversations and presentations
• Ability to manage your own work while staying aligned with team priorities
• Strong visual design fundamentals, especially layout, hierarchy and typography
• Experience designing flexible page systems and responsive layouts
• Solid understanding of current web design patterns, standards and trends
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Excellent typography and grid layout skills
• Experience working on macOS
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
• General understanding of SEO and content-driven design
• Experience designing accessible, standards-compliant websites

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
