IG Group is a global leader in online trading, serving over 400,000 active clients worldwide. Our APAC division manages a £250M+ business across Australia, Singapore, UAE, and Japan, offering CFDs, share dealing, and cryptocurrency trading through regulated platforms.

IG Markets is our new mobile-first multi-product trading platform designed for active investors in Singapore. We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the launch and growth of leveraged CFD trading on this platform—a strategic priority for our APAC expansion.

This is a high‑impact role requiring someone who can navigate complex regulatory frameworks (including MAS), drive delivery across distributed teams, and launch sophisticated trading products in compressed timelines. You’ll be instrumental in bringing institutional‑grade CFD capabilities to a modern, intuitive mobile experience.

Location & Logistics

Based in Singapore with hybrid working arrangements
Reports directly to the Product Director, APAC & Middle East
Regular collaboration with teams across APAC, Middle East, UK, and India
Some flexibility for remote work within Singapore; occasional travel to regional offices

What you will do

As Product Manager for CFD Trading, you’ll own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle—from regulatory compliance and technical architecture to user experience and go‑to‑market execution.

Own and drive the CFD product launch for IG Markets, balancing regulatory requirements with user experience excellence
Balance core product build that is standard across markets, vs customisation for specific markets
Define and prioritise features based on regulatory constraints, technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives
Establish success metrics and KPIs; continuously monitor and optimise product performance post‑launch
Coordinate delivery across globally distributed teams spanning Singapore, Australia, Dubai, UK, India, and South Africa
Work with Engineering teams to define technical specifications, system architecture, and integration requirements
Participate in technical design reviews and provide product context for architectural decisions
Champion the user experience; ensure CFD trading is accessible, intuitive, and mobile‑optimised
Conduct user research and testing to validate assumptions and iterate on designs

What you will need

5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years hands‑on experience on mobile app
Proven track record launching full‑stack products from concept to market
Strong technical fluency—able to discuss APIs, system architecture, and technical trade‑offs with engineering teams
Cross‑functional leadership across engineering, design, compliance, and business stakeholders
Experience with regulated products, particularly in trading, investments, or financial instruments is a plus

Highly Valued Experience

Direct experience with CFDs, derivatives, or leveraged trading products
Knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements or other financial regulatory frameworks (ASIC, FCA, JFSA)
Experience launching mobile‑first financial applications or trading platforms
Background working in multi‑jurisdictional or multi‑market environments
Previous roles managing distributed or global teams
Technical background in computer science, engineering, or related field
