Remote - Senior React Native Engineer

Affinity Labs, a UK-based venture studio building AI-powered, creator-led software brands for the creator economy. We partner with leading creators to transform their influence into scalable technology companies, having shipped 4 mobile applications in 4 months across education, wellness and productivity. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving studio at the ground floor and take ownership of mobile development across our growing portfolio of products.

You'll work directly with our founding team to build, ship and scale React Native applications that reach engaged communities of hundreds of thousands of users. You'll be hands-on across the full product lifecycle—from rapid MVP builds through to production-grade releases—while helping establish the mobile engineering foundations for a multi-product studio.

• Own the end-to-end development of React Native mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Define mobile architecture, standards, workflows and best practices across the product portfolio
• Take mobile apps from MVP through to scalable, production-quality products
• Collaborate with founders, creators and designers to shape solutions to real user problems
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, performance optimisation and code quality
• Work in an AI-augmented development environment and help prototype AI-driven features
• Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions and product planning

• Strong experience as a senior or lead-level mobile engineer using React Native
• Proven track record of taking mobile apps from MVP to scaled, high-quality products
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script and experience with libraries like Reanimated, Skia, Apollo Client, Expo, and React Navigation
• Proven ability to build and ship products end-to-end, including monitoring and optimizing them after launch
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, state management and app store deployment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and PostgreSQL
• Solid testing experience (unit and e2e) and familiarity with modern CI/CD workflows
• Comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional team with strong communication skills
• Curious, self-driven and excited about using AI-assisted development tools
