You will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer's equipment, as a Home-Based Mobile Field Engineer with a large geographical area.
Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers, peers and support departments as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
Your Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting, Diagnostic, installation, maintenance and repair of HP/Lenovo desktops & laptops.
* Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications as well as IMAC work
* There can be 50% + travel in any day so willingness to travel is essential
* A very strong relationship with Dispatch is vital and must be sought
* Maintaining and monitoring daily communication tools, Phone, Voicemail and Email
* Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining updates to all respective support departments
* Maintaining tools, test equipment and Company supplied Vehicle.
* Adherence to all part process and procedures
* Utilizing escalation and support processes to resolve service delivery issues.
* Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
* The ability to lift and carry parts that can weigh up to 25 kgs.
* Adherence to all employee administration and deadlines, Overtime, Expenses, Mileage Declaration.
You will Be
* ONC or equivalent IT qualification, or equivalent experience
* Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
* Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
* Three years' experience of diagnosing and repairing IT Equipment
* Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
* Strong time management skills.
* Strong communication skills
* Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
* Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
