UX Designer - Infrastructure

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a UX Designer - Infrastructure in EMEA.

In this role, you will craft intuitive, high-impact user experiences for complex infrastructure tools used globally to build and manage cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to transform technical workflows into elegant, user-centered solutions. This position offers the opportunity to influence the design of cutting-edge platforms, contribute to open-source initiatives, and shape the user experience of enterprise IT systems.

You will support the evolution of design systems, ensure consistency across products, and participate in cross-functional initiatives that enhance both usability and operational efficiency. • Design and deliver end-to-end UX solutions for infrastructure tools, including MAAS, LXD, Micro Cloud, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define product experiences and design solutions for complex technical systems.
• Apply UX research, heuristics, and best practices to support and improve deeply technical products.
• Contribute to the development, evangelization, and maintenance of design systems for consistency and efficiency.
• Participate in working groups and cross-functional initiatives to advance design practices across teams.
• Present design solutions clearly and effectively to engineers, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understand product constraints and requirements, ensuring design decisions align with strategic objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design, STEM, or a compelling alternative path.
• Demonstrated experience in UX design for complex technical systems or enterprise tools.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, user research, and interaction design.
• Ability to balance technical feasibility with user needs and business goals.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a remote, distributed environment.
• Enthusiasm for technology, open-source software, and building scalable user experiences.
• Ability to travel internationally up to twice a year for team events or company gatherings.
