We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Transformation Lead to join our Group Data & AI Office (GDAIO) Team. The GDAIO function is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of data and AI use across Royal London. Our strategy at Royal London is to become an insight-led modern mutual, growing sustainably through deepening customer relationships. We want to use data, analytics and AI to offer timely, relevant, personalised guidance and support to deepen customer relationships and ultimately, increase their financial resilience.
More about the role:
The Data Transformation Lead is responsible for delivering a set of outcomes within our Data & AI Portfolio. The role oversees the planning, execution, monitoring and benefits realisation of a package of work; delivering critical data outcomes aligned to the Data & AI strategy.
Delivery lifecycle management will align to the Group's Change framework. The role requires the creation of multi-year Data Transformation roadmaps that incrementally take us forward as we deliver against the Data & AI strategy.
The role requires working within cross-functional squads as part of a Value Stream model and demonstrable experience of working on complex Data programmes. Experience of working with strategic partners on multi-year deliveries is essential.
About you- Demonstrable experience of large scale Data & AI transformation programmes, or Regulatory data programmes, preferably in Financial Services.
- Extensive experience in delivery using multiple methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Successful track record delivering strategic initiatives to plan, cost & quality
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
- An analytical mind-set with developed problem-solving abilities
- Expert level planning and scheduling skills, ensuring complex dependencies are managed
- Strong teambuilding skills for effective management across large change programmes
- Ability to think strategically and communicate a vision/strategy effectively
- Assesses upstream and downstream data connections, and experience reviewing target data architectures
- Expert networking, presentation and negotiating skills
