Senior Analytics Engineer

Be the technical force behind Ciphr’s data & AI platform

We’re scaling our Data Science & Analytics capability and looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to turn architectural vision into robust, production-ready data & AI solutions
. You’ll lead on pipelines, semantic models and LLM-powered features, set the engineering bar, and mentor others - so our teams (and customers) can trust insights at scale. (Reporting line: Director of Data Science & Analytics.)

• Lead the evolution of our strategic data platform across Snowflake, dbt, Fabric and Power BI
  , designing for reliability, scalability and reusability
  .
• Build and optimise data & AI workflows
  , including LLM integrations
  , MCP servers, and AI Dev Ops for evaluation/monitoring/logging.
• Embed security and compliance into every solution.
• Mentor analytics engineers and act as a trusted technical delegate for the Director of Data Science & Analytics when needed.

• Secure, scalable,
  well‑documented production systems with measurable performance gains, high adoption of Ciphr Analytics/AI features, and visible innovation across data, AI and automation.
• Demonstratable reliability and performance improvements across key pipelines and workloads
• High adoption and satisfaction rates for Ciphr Analytics and AI-enabled features
  , with low-friction access, usability, and integration across the business
• Increased technical confidence and independence of junior engineers through mentoring.
• Clear evidence of innovation and optimisation across data, AI and automation workflows.
• Full compliance with data security and governance, contractual, and audit requirements.

• Proven success as a Senior Analytics Engineer / Senior Data Engineer
  .
• Strong CI/CD, Dev Ops, Terraform/Azure Dev Ops
  ; confident with AI productivity tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot).
• Communication, documentation and mentoring skills that elevate the whole team.

• Hybrid, UK‑based
