Oracle Developer

Overview

For our international client based in Geneva, we are looking for an experienced Oracle Developer to join a dynamic and multicultural IT environment. You will be involved in the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle-based applications, with a strong focus on PL/SQL development and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL
• Optimize database performance, queries, and stored procedures
• Participate in application migrations and deployments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Collaborate with application developers, system engineers, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data integrity, security, and best practices in database development
• Write technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Support production environments and troubleshoot database-related issues
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Proven experience as an Oracle Developer
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers)
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or above)
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or strong motivation to work in cloud environments
• Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and optimization
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional working proficiency in English
