You will be Comp TIA Network+ (or similar) certified with a strong understanding of Cloud technologies (Azure/365) and ITIL principles.
A strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls etc) as well proven skills in Widows Server, Virtualisation, Replication and back-up is required as an awareness of monitoring tools such as Connect Wise RRM, Logic Monitor or similar.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting server performance, network connectivity and application service issues and dealing with escalations from the 1st line team.
Strong communication skills and demonstrative experience of Incident Management practices are essential for this role.
The role will be based at our client’s office in Maidenhead, Berks with occasional remote working.
A starting salary of £35,00 per annum plus benefits is on offer for the right candidate
