Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

The Role

As our Hub Spot Automation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation, and evolution of our Hub Spot setup. You’ll work closely with marketing, IT, sales, and wider teams to ensure Hub Spot is technically robust, creatively effective, and continuously improving based on performance data.

This role suits someone who enjoys combining logic and creativity — building smart automations, improving journeys, and translating data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Hub Spot platform day-to-day, including workflows, automation, properties, integrations, and data structure
  • Design, build, and optimise automated journeys across marketing, sales, and CRM
  • Ensure the system setup supports both technical best practice and creative campaign execution
  • Monitor performance across workflows, campaigns, and funnels, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Provide clear feedback and recommendations to teams on how Hub Spot can be used more effectively
  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain data quality, compliance, and platform hygiene
  • Stay up to date with Hub Spot updates, features, and best practices, proactively suggesting enhancements
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience working with Hub Spot in a technical capacity (automation, workflows, CRM setup, integrations)
  • A strong understanding of how Hub Spot is used creatively for marketing and customer journeys
  • Experience analysing performance and using insights to improve processes and campaigns
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and explaining technical concepts clearly
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for optimisation and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
  • Hub Spot certifications
  • Experience working with sales and marketing teams in a B2B environment
  • Familiarity with reporting, attribution, and funnel analysis
  • Previous experience in a recruitment or professional services setting
