Role: ETL & Data Warehouse Developer

Title: AVP

Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required

Required Experience: 6+ years

• Design, develop, and maintain robust database objects, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data warehouse solutions to support enterprise-level reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Build and optimize data models, perform data and performance analysis, and ensure best practices in database design and query optimization.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
• Leverage Snowflake (or similar cloud data platforms) for scalable data storage, processing, and analytics; experience with Spark or Databricks is a plus.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries, data models, and ETL scripts for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle.
• Document data flows, processes, and technical solutions for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation and learning.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in database development, ETL, or data engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning).
• Proficiency with Snowflake (ideal) or similar cloud data platforms for data warehousing and analytics.
• Experience with ETL tools, scripting (Python/Shell), and building scalable data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and best practices.
• Experience with data and performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in leveraging GenAI, Copilot, or AI-based tools for data engineering, automation, or reporting, including design, code completion, review, and automated test case generation.
• Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks.

• Experience with Spark, Databricks, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Autosys).
• Exposure to OLAP tools and multidimensional data modeling.
• Knowledge of data processing using Python and JSON data manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Dynamic, flexible, and eager to learn new technologies; solution-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Prior exposure to the finance or investment banking domain is an advantage.
