Remote DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and improving a robust cloud infrastructure that serves a vast number of users. The role involves working in a collaborative environment where you will apply Dev Ops best practices to enhance our service reliability.

You will be critical in managing both production and non-production environments, ensuring seamless operations across diverse cloud platforms. Continuous learning and adaptability are essential as you interact with various teams to optimize performance and scalability.

• Building and supporting our cloud-based environment.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in production and non-production environments.
• Improve infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to infrastructure standards and best practices.
• Participating in the application of software patches and security updates.
• Communicate & collaborate extremely well with others.

• Practical cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid Linux system administration experience (CLI usage, services, networking, troubleshooting).
• Experience working with version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, PHP, or similar).
• Infrastructure-as-code, and related tools such as:
  Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Packer.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
