Job Description
IT Program Manager (AI Transformation Lead) — Remote
Strategic contract role in the insurance industry for a seasoned IT project management professional with AI delivery experience. Drive GenAI initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to high-impact digital transformation. Remote or hybrid in Canada.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $90-95 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $110-115 per hour.
• 10-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm., EST time zone.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the delivery of GenAI projects from planning through execution.
• Manage project scope, constraints, and roadmaps in collaboration with leadership.
• Facilitate meetings, document action items, and develop project plans.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ensure delivery aligns with business priorities.
• Collaborate across functions to gather requirements and identify necessary resources.
• Act as liaison between AI Delivery Leads, Portfolio Managers, and business units.
• Monitor project health, escalate issues when needed, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and present project deliverables, stakeholder maps, and governance plans.
• Provide regular reporting, status updates, and risk assessments.
• Independently drive projects while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• MBA or other related advanced degree is a nice to have.
• PMP or PMI certification is nice to have.
• 8–10 years of proven project management experience, including people management and team building.
• Experience delivering projects in fast-paced, multi-platform environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in cost-benefit analysis, roadmap development, and project documentation.
• Ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable with data analysis to inform decision-making.
• Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working on AI programs or exposure to financial services/sales is considered an asset.
