Overview

The Healthcare Analytics Department has an opportunity for a Reporting Analyst within its Analysis and Reporting function, specialising in cancer reporting while supporting other reporting areas. The department supports the organisation’s data and analytics needs to enable data-driven, evidence-based decisions. The role is fully remote with a suitable home working environment.

Reporting will include regular reporting, ad hoc analysis and insight, and new report development using Power BI. The team is part of the Planning and Performance Directorate and includes Analysis and Reporting, Data Warehousing and Commissioning Information.

• Deliver high quality analytical support across a wide range of areas with subject matter expertise in cancer.
• Submit statutory returns and produce regular reports.
• Complete ad hoc data requests and analysis.
• Develop new reports and insights using Power BI.
• Produce detailed analyses and reports in an NHS analytics and/or reporting environment and work with data from different source systems.

• Experience extracting, processing and analysing data from different source systems.
• Experience working in an NHS analytics and/or reporting environment.
• Proficiency with Power BI for report development and insight generation.

Role is fully remote; a suitable home working environment is required. Daily huddles are used to align priorities and celebrate progress, and to raise issues or request support.
