We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in the Bank and Finance Domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business. It will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Solution Architect

• Hands on Solution Architect with strong expertise in Kafka Confluent, Kafka, Mongo
  
  DB, AWS, APIs and Operational Data Stores (ODS). Able to operate confidently across both high level architecture and low-level design and implementation.
• Must bring immediate productivity with no learning curve; prior demonstrable experience designing and delivering solutions in streaming and ODS environments is essential.
• Expected to design, build and validate end-to-end solutions, not just provide architectural oversight. Able to drive PoCs, prototypes, solution demos and hands‑on technical spikes ensuring architecture decisions are validated in practice.
• Comfortable switching between conceptual architecture, detailed solution design and implementation guidance for engineering teams.
• Contribute to and support architecture governance processes: architectural distribution reviews, standards compliance, approval board submissions, adherence to patterns and guardrails.
• Ensure decisions align with organisational guidelines and help uphold the architectural integrity of the corporate streaming ODS pillar.
• Strong communicator who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, engineering teams and cross‑functional partners due to the high visibility of the role within the bank.
• Expected to operate autonomously, managing expectations, articulating design rationale and ensuring alignment across teams.

• Experience 10 years as Solution Architect
• Experience 5 years in Kafka Confluent
• Strong leadership, problem solving, analytical thinking and communication skills
