Join Clario as a Manager of R&D Software Engineering and help shape the tools that support our next-generation clinical trial technologies. This leadership role directly influences the architecture and scalability of Clario’s platform solutions, with a strong focus on cloud-native engineering, developer enablement, and technical excellence. You’ll lead a small, high-performing solution engineering team that builds foundational libraries and frameworks used across more than 20 agile development squads.

** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Lead and mentor a hands-on engineering team focused on reusable libraries and platform enablement
* Hire and develop technical talent; conduct one-on-ones, goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews
* Collaborate with product, architects, QA, and other engineering teams to plan and execute software delivery
* Drive adoption of modern technologies, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops best practices
* Oversee roadmaps, budgets, and team capacity planning while managing escalations and Level 4 support
* Champion secure application development and compliance in a regulated environment
* Develop change management strategies and clarity in solution design to reduce cross-team friction
* Continuously evaluate engineering tools, promote best practices, and improve developer productivity
** What We Look For
*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, including team leadership
* Proven ability to deliver scalable software in agile, cloud-based environments
* Expertise in .NET, Angular, Postgres, SQL Server, and/or Oracle
* Experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams
* Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues
* Based in or able to work from the United States (remote/hybrid/on-site)
