Capgemini's Operational Technology (OT) Security team has been helping clients secure their OT environments for over 14 years. We provide consultancy and managed services that help organisations understand their current security posture, identify vulnerabilities, implement solutions, and maintain secure operations.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping clients reduce risks in their OT environments. You'll work alongside a supportive team and contribute to projects that span industries such as energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Hybrid workingThe places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including:
- identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)
As an Operational Technology Security Consultant, you'll collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver security‑focused activities across one or more of the following areas:
- Conducting site surveys to help clients identify systems in their OT environments (including offshore locations)
- Assessing systems and network security for compliance and best practice and performing risk assessments
- Developing OT security policies and procedures to support safe and resilient operations
- Performing audits and gap analyses to help clients maintain compliance and improve security
- Providing practical advice and guidance to help clients address OT security challenges, act as trusted advisor
- Producing security artefacts for future use cases and delivery of OT training.

Your skills and experienceWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. You may have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Working in OT environments with a focus on security, across industries such as energy, oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing
- OT‑related network architecture, endpoint protection, governance, and awareness initiatives
- Supporting organisations in developing roadmaps and processes to improve OT security
- Leading or contributing to assessments and evaluations of OT environments, including analysis and reporting
- Understanding OT security controls and how they apply to large organisations
