Veeva is looking for an EU-based, experienced R&D IT program leader to manage implementation programs at Veeva’s largest Vault customers within Europe and guide the transformation of their R&D technology landscape. You will manage all customer-facing teams and coordinate with Sales to optimize Veeva’s products and services to meet the customer’s business needs and drive opportunities for new product sales and product adoption.

As the Global Program Manager, you will own customer success with intensity and lead as the services executive that partners deeply across Veeva teams, including Product and Sales.

This is a remote, full-time, customer-facing role that will work from customer sites, home office, and offsite meetings. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the European Union or the UK. Veeva does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this position.

• Service Delivery accountability for one or more Global Vault implementations in Clinical, Safety, and Regulatory at strategic accounts
• Partner with customer leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to define deployment, governance, and transformation roadmaps
• Collaborate with Sales, Strategy, Product Management, Customer Success, and Services Leadership to keep stakeholders aligned on milestones and activities
• Develop strategic relationships with the customer’s IT and business executives and act as the customer’s trusted advisor
• Develop implementation proposals and lead services contract negotiations
• Oversee project execution by the Professional Services team and manage escalations
• Ensure a smooth transition to, and oversight of, post-deployment application management teams

• 7+ years in large-scale program management within the Pharmaceutical R&D space (Clinical, RIM, or Safety)
• In-depth Pharmaceutical R&D knowledge in at least one of Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Manufacturing
• Consulting experience across multiple functional areas for enterprise pharma clients
• Track record of leading diverse global teams to deliver large, complex GxP technology implementations
• Experience in technology strategy and roadmap development for large customers, ideally in GxP environments
• Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate information to influence at the executive level
• Skills in problem resolution, negotiation, dealing with ambiguity, process establishment, and influencing without authority
• Experience working with third parties to galvanize a dispersed program team
• Based in the EU or UK and able to travel up to 50%

• Software as a Service implementation experience in GxP space
