At this level, the role is not about delivery alone. The successful individual will act as a trusted IT procurement advisor to clients, while also helping to shape how IT procurement consulting is delivered internally. This includes contributing to proposition development, mentoring consultants, improving tools and frameworks, and influencing how the organisation evolves its IT procurement offering.

The role operates on a home-based contract
, with flexibility to be based anywhere in England, making it ideal for senior professionals who value autonomy and balance alongside meaningful work.

• Acting as a senior IT procurement subject matter expert across complex client engagements both in the public and private sectors
• Leading end-to-end IT procurement activity across software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure and services
• Supporting large-scale IT procurement transformation programmes for public and private sector clients
• Playing a key role in shaping internal IT procurement capability, frameworks and ways of working
• Mentoring and developing consultants as the practice continues to grow
• Supporting long-term growth through thought leadership and client relationships

• Has deep IT procurement experience and credibility as a subject matter expert
• Has worked in a consulting or advisory environment and understands client delivery
• Enjoys influencing, shaping and improving how procurement is done, not just delivering projects
• Is motivated by long-term progression rather than short-term moves
