The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Team Lead to guide and mentor a growing Dev Ops team while contributing to the design, implementation, and management of our infrastructure. In this leadership role, you will drive automation strategies, oversee deployment processes, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams. You will play a key role in shaping our platform’s reliability, scalability, and operational excellence, taking ownership of challenges and leading the team to deliver robust solutions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support Dev Ops team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement with a focus on advancing team capabilities and empowering members to take ownership of solutions.
  • Coordinate Dev Ops team involvement in the organization software release process, ensuring successful coordination with development and product teams.
  • Manage project delivery schedules, priorities and resource allocation.
  • Delegate technical work effectively to team members providing coaching and growth opportunities while maintaining hands‑on involvement in critical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers and architects to ensure compliance to company security and quality management system standards.
  • Partner with software engineering teams to design, deploy, and manage applications across cloud and on‑premises environments.
Technical Hands‑On Responsibilities
  • Oversee troubleshooting of production issues and coordinate remediation efforts to ensure business continuity with minimal downtime.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure using automation, configuration management and infrastructure‑as‑code tooling (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Cloud Build).
  • Continuously evaluate system performance and scalability, proposing or implementing targeted improvements.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Design, implement, and oversee scalable logging and monitoring systems.
What you will bring:
  • Proven experience managing and developing people, including performance management, mentoring, and building high‑performing teams (must‑have).
  • Strong knowledge on Dev Ops Best Practices focused but not limited to:
    • Performance
    • Security
    • Disaster Recovery
  • Robust base of estimation and planning to lead the team to achieve their objectives.
  • Proven technical expertise to lead the team in designing and implementing solutions that achieve the Dev Ops yearly roadmap objectives.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with:
    • UNIX/Linux systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and scripting.
    • Cloud environments
Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Automation tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible
  • Configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Containerization technologies and methodologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Blue/Green Deployments, Service Discovery, Health Checks, etc.
  • Logging and Monitoring stacks (Grafana, Influx

    DB, Telegraf, ELK stack)
Nice to have:
  • GCP certifications
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
