Senior ServiceNow Engineer

What you'll do

As a senior developer within the Cyber Security Organization, you'll be working on building the critical workflows in Service Now that enable the company's ability to track, fix, and prevent security vulnerabilities and deficiencies. The applications and workflows you create keep our company and our customers safe and secure. Your specific job functions may include:

• Write efficient, scalable code and continuously improve system performance and stability of the Service Now platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain new Service Now applications and platform enhancements within the scope of Cyber Security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across Service Now modules.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Service Now development and portal usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions, working closely with the Service Now architect and business analysts.
• Utilize Service Now best practices, coding standards, and ITIL processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve development quality.
• Write and maintain automated scripts that test your code against requirements.

• Significant hands‑on experience developing within a Service Now platform.
• Both Service Now Development and Administration experience (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, etc.).
• At least one of the following certifications is required:
  • Service Now ITIL Certification
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Understanding of Service Now architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong development experience with:
  • Java Script
  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes
  • UI Policies, UI Actions
  • Flow Designer and Workflows
• Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high‑performing code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
