Release Manager - SC Cleared
Location:
London / Remote (Mainly Remote)
Rate:
Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: SC Cleared

You will be at the heart of the a critical AWS cloud ecosystem hosting over 70 tenant organisations. This is not just about keeping the lights on; it's about streamlining the delivery of national-scale infrastructure used by millions.
The Role (SFIA 5 Level)
As the Release Manager (EOP Core), you will bridge the gap between delivery teams, QA, and enterprise governance. You will take ownership of the Forward Schedule of Change, ensuring the timely promotion of platform features through shared testing environments into production.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Orchestration:
Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for large-scale public sector cloud platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary interface between delivery teams and client change/governance boards.
Process Optimization:
Analyse bottlenecks and suggest data-driven measures to improve predictability and decrease cycle times.
Documentation:
Support Scrum Masters and Engineers in preparing rigorous QA and release documentation.
Reporting:
Provide high-level reporting on adoption rates and platform health to senior client stakeholders.
Your Profile
This role requires a proactive leader who isn't afraid to dive into the detail. You are as comfortable negotiating with enterprise governance teams as you are discussing Dev Ops practices with Tech Leads.
Essential Requirements:
Technical Background:
Deep understanding of AWS Cloud Platform development and support.
Certification:
Relevant AWS Certification (Associate or Professional level).
Methodologies:
Strong knowledge of Dev Ops, Quality Assurance, and Agile practices.
Sector
Experience:
Proven track record managing releases in large-scale Public Sector or Central Government environments.
Skill Level: Demonstrable experience operating at SFIA Level 5.
