Senior SAP BW​/HANA Consultant Gauteng​/Hybrid - ISB

Our client is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant (Senior).

This role is pivotal in providing cutting‑edge IT solutions to global operations while ensuring the precision of financial internal steering (planning and reporting) within the Group IT Hub South Africa

  10+ years SAP BW experience

Product / Team Context: The Periodical Steering Product is focused on inner‑year financial internal steering (planning and reporting) based on value types:
Actual, Plan, and Target for Budget and Invest.

• At least 10+ years SAP BW experience.
• Experience working in international teams.
• Solid business process knowledge in the Finance area.
• Design & Development: Design and implement SAP BW/4
  
  HANA data models, including ADSOs, Info Cubes, and Composite Providers.
• Very good knowledge of Unions and Joins
  .
• Knowledge of S/4
  
  HANA (specifically ACDOCA table).
• Business Logic Implementation: Creating Transformations, DTPs, and Info Packages.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize SAP BTP queries and reports (BEx / BW Queries).
• Technical Documentation: Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Data Integration: Solid background in data integration and Extraction from SAC to BW.
• Ability to assist and mentor junior team members.

• Accounting Degree or Certification.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere

• Experience with SAC Planning

• Knowledge of Java or ABAP.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

• Development and creation of Planning Models for international production.

Location & Relocation: Applicants based outside of Gauteng must be willing to relocate.
