Purpose of Role:
We are building Version 2 of SkilledUp Life and are looking for a Security Architect to help ensure the security and integrity of our systems. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security practices across the platform.
Role Activities:
Assess and design secure system architectures
Define and enforce security policies and best practices
Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments
Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices
Review and recommend security tools and technologies
Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis
Attend product meetings, submit daily updates (via Slack), and collaborate with team members

- Define, implement, and enforce security policies and best practices.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
- Review, recommend, and help implement security tools and technologies.
- Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Attend product meetings, submit daily updates via Slack, and maintain communication with team members.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with secure system architecture design and implementation.
- Ability to conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and collaboration with developers.
- Knowledge of security tools, technologies, and incident response procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
