GIS Analyst

• Create and edit spatial data and mapping products while performing junior level geospatial analyses
• Generate, edit, and maintain relational geospatial databases
• Assist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processes
  
  Support field activities as a field second, depending on workload
• Collaborate with technical experts across various Montrose regions

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformations
• Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience with ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases and ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / Online
• Familiarity with FME or ESRI model builder
• Experience in acquiring or processing UAV imagery
• Knowledge of GIS programming using technologies such as Python, Arcade, or Java Script
• Field experience with applicable certifications
