Position: PROJECT MANAGER

This role involves leading the end‑to‑end delivery of critical banking technology and regulatory change initiatives across areas such as Retail and Corporate Lending, Payments, and Customer Onboarding. You will drive Agile execution across multiple squads, ensuring predictable delivery through structured sprint planning, Kanban tracking, and velocity management.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of banking technology and regulatory change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives across Retail & Corporate Lending, Payments, and Customer Onboarding journeys.
  • Drive Agile project execution (Scrum/Kanban) for multi‑squad delivery, maintaining Kanban boards, sprint plans, and velocity tracking to ensure predictable release cycles.
  • Manage Banking Change initiatives, including process reengineering, compliance updates (KYC/AML, Credit Risk, Operational Risk), and system enhancements across core banking and digital channels.
  • Apply PMP/Prince2 frameworks for governance, risk & issue management, RAID tracking, and adherence to bank‑wide audit and compliance controls.
  • Lead project scoping, estimation, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with portfolio budgets and the bank’s technology roadmap.
  • Create and maintain Gantt charts, release plans, dependency maps, and status dashboards to drive transparent and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—Business, Technology, QA, Architecture, Risk, and Compliance—to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and platform enhancements.
  • Utilize Trello, JIRA, Confluence, or similar PM tools to streamline task management, traceability, and documentation standards.
  • Manage vendor and third‑party integrations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, data security guidelines, and contractual KPIs within the banking ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory timelines, and operational goals.
Job Requirements
  • 5–7 years of Project Management experience, preferably in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Strong exposure to Retail/Corporate Lending, Payments, Cards, UPI, SWIFT, RTGS/NEFT, Account Servicing, or other BFSI functions.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering projects in Agile environments, including sprint governance, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Business, Tech, and Risk teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives while maintaining control of scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of change management practices in regulated banking environments.
  • Experience with CRM systems, core banking platforms, vendor ecosystems, or financial product integrations is an added advantage.
