YOUR IMPACTYou won’t be stuck in maintenance mode. At Ateko, the Data Engineering role is critical in managing the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation to analytics and governance within modern cloud ecosystems. You will work on large-scale data challenges, optimize workflows, and enable real-time insights for enterprise clients.
YOUR TEAMWe hire top-tier talent and give them the space to shine. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders, as well as technical teams across applications, integration, CI/CD, Sec Ops, and Infra/Ops, all contributing to the end‑to‑end data lifecycle. No egos., just smart people solving complex problems together, whose primary mission is to ensure the quality, performance, stability, and compliance of data pipelines and analytical platforms.
WHATTO EXPECT
Your day to day will look like this:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement ETL/ELT processes and ensure efficient processing and retrieval for large-scale analytics.
- Apply CI/CD practices using Azure Dev Ops/Github for automated deployments and version control.
- Build and maintain cloud-native data warehouses leveraging platforms such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
- Develop solutions for real-time data ingestion and streaming using Azure Stream Analytics or equivalent technologies.
- Implement Azure security best practices and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
The following experience will help you succeed in this role. However, if you don’t meet all these criteria, we will be happy to consider your application, because we’re looking for potential first.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years experience in Python and SQL
- Skilled in creating efficient ETL workflows leveraging Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Proven experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, Azure security, Azure Stream Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and Apache Spark.
- Nice to have certification such Microsoft Certified: DP-700 – Fabric Data Engineer Associate or equivalent.
