Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Finance Technology Architecture Lead to define and drive the architecture strategy for critical finance platforms across the enterprise. This role is ideal for a senior technology leader who combines deep financial systems expertise with strong architectural judgment and the ability to influence across business, technology, and risk functions.
You will lead the end‑to‑end architecture for finance capabilities such as Risk Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Enterprise Data Governance, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards. You will partner with various teams including, Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Data, and Risk teams to modernize platforms and drive automation.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where there is a balance of working from home and office.
What you will be responsible for
As a VP of Finance Technology Architecture you will
Define and own the target state architecture for finance technology platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business strategy
Lead architecture design for complex initiatives, including system modernization, cloud adoption, and vendor platform integration
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, and compliant technical solutions
Guide solution architecture across domains such as Data Governance, Financial Reporting, and Risk platforms
Ensure architectural decisions support data integrity, auditability, security, and regulatory expectations within a controlled environment
Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Infrastructure teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and operationally sound
Advocate for simplification, automation, and reuse to reduce technical debt and operational risk

Mentor and guide solution architects and senior engineers, setting a high bar for technical quality and documentation
Strong experience designing enterprise‑scale finance systems in a complex, regulated environment
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels, from defining target architecture to reviewing detailed designs
Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
Education &
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience with significant experience in solution or enterprise architecture
Proven background supporting finance, or risk platforms within a large organization
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience working within a large, regulated financial services enterprise
Additional optional requirements
Experience modernizing legacy finance platforms or large scale transformations
Familiarity with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations
Exposure to data governance, financial data modeling, and analytics platforms
Experience leveraging automation, AI, or intelligent workflows in finance processes
