We re working with a well-established digital agency based in the North West who are looking to hire an experienced SEO Manager as part of their continued growth. While the agency has strong regional roots, this role is fully remote and open to candidates based anywhere in the UK.
This is a great opportunity for an SEO professional with agency experience who enjoys working across a varied client portfolio and has a strong blend of technical SEO and content-led SEO expertise.
The RoleThe SEO Manager will take ownership of organic search performance for a range of clients, leading on strategy while remaining hands-on with delivery. The role sits within a collaborative digital team and works closely with content, development, and wider performance specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver SEO strategies across multiple agency clients
- Lead technical SEO audits, including site structure, crawlability, indexation, page speed, and Core Web Vitals
- Develop and implement content SEO strategies, including keyword research, content planning, and on-page optimisation
- Work closely with content teams to ensure SEO best practice is embedded in all content output
- Collaborate with developers to scope, prioritise, and implement technical SEO recommendations
- Track and analyse performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
- Produce clear, insightful reports and confidently communicate results and recommendations to clients
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practice
- Provide guidance and support to more junior team members where required
- Proven experience in an SEO role within a digital agency
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and hands-on audit experience
- Solid understanding of content SEO and on-page optimisation
- Experience managing multiple clients and competing priorities
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to clients
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into action
- Salary of £38,000 – £40,000
