Position: B2B Organic Social Media Manager - (Lead)

Overview

As the Lead Linked In Channel Strategist, you will be the driving force behind our clients' success on professional platforms. This role focuses primarily on Linked In (approximately 80%) with supplementary efforts on Facebook and Instagram (approximately 20%).

You will:

  • Own and evolve PTP’s Linked In proposition.
  • Build scalable frameworks for B2B growth via Linked In.
  • Lead strategy for key clients.
  • Develop and grow a high-performing Linked In practice.

This role combines delivery, strategy, and leadership. You’ll remain hands-on while shaping how we scale this offering across the business.

About PTP

We’re on a mission to become the UK’s leading Rev Ops agency. Linked In will play a central role in that—for our clients and for us. We believe there is space in the market for an agency that builds the most commercially-focused, strategically rigorous Linked In offering in the UK. Not surface-level social media management, but a serious B2B growth engine.

We’re looking for someone to help us build it.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Methodology
  • Designing best-in-class Linked In channel strategies for B2B clients that align with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Building repeatable methodologies and playbooks to ensure a "Linked In-first" approach across a diverse portfolio.
  • Developing content frameworks that position clients as category leaders and drive thought leadership.
  • Staying abreast of the latest Linked In platform updates and trends to integrate them into high-level strategies.
Content & Performance Execution
  • Overseeing the creation of compelling, high-quality content including posts, articles, carousels, and video concepts.
  • Ensuring all content aligns with client brand guidelines, tone of voice, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitoring and analysing KPIs to provide actionable insights that move the needle on revenue impact, not just social metrics.
  • Conducting A/B testing to optimise engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
Client & Team Growth
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for key clients, presenting strategies and reports in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Building and mentoring a Linked In-focused team over time as the practice scales.
  • Supporting new business conversations with Linked In expertise to help grow the agency's portfolio.
  • Contributing to PTP’s own Linked In growth strategy.
What We’re Looking For Essential
  • Proven experience (min 3 years) in social media management with a track record of success for B2B or professional services.
  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in Linked In as a B2B growth engine, including its algorithms and organic growth features.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to think commercially and align channel strategies to revenue goals.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Authored Up, Dripfy, Snov, Sprout Social, Agorapulse or similar tools.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience building or scaling a team or growing a social offering within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of Rev Ops principles.
  • Experience with paid Linked In advertising and marketing automation platforms.
  • Certifications in social media marketing or Linked In advertising.
This Role Is For You If…
  • You want to build something
    , not just manage it.
  • You care about commercial impact more than social metrics.
  • You’re excited by the challenge of building the UK’s strongest Linked In B2B offering
    .
  • You want to play a meaningful role in shaping a growing agency.
Benefits
  • Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office; you choose where and when you work the remaining time to complete your 37.5 hours.
  • Generous Leave: 30 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
  • Work from Anywhere: 4 weeks a year working from anywhere in the world (post-probation).
  • Professional Growth: Regular personal development plans, one-to-ones, and a clear path to progression.
  • Exposure: Opportunities to attend and speak at national and international industry conferences.
  • Tech: Choice of the latest Apple or Microsoft equipment.
