GCP Data Engineer (Python | Big Query | Data Proc)
Location: Remote Anywhere in India
Immediate Joiners Preferred
We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong Google Cloud expertise to design and build scalable, high‑performance data solutions. If you enjoy working on cloud migrations, building optimized pipelines, and solving complex data challenges — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do- Architect and build scalable data pipelines using Python on Google Cloud
- Design and optimize datasets in Big Query (partitioning, clustering, performance tuning)
Implement data transformation workflows using Dataform and Data Proc - Lead data migration initiatives from legacy/on‑prem or other cloud platforms to GCP
- Develop efficient data models to support analytics, reporting, and BI use cases
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, production‑ready data platforms
- Strong hands‑on experience with Big Query and advanced SQL optimization
- Experience working with Data Proc and Dataform
- Solid Python expertise for ETL/ELT development
- Proven experience in cloud data migration and data modeling
- Ability to design scalable and cost‑efficient data architectures
Good to Have: Exposure to Azure (for hybrid or multi‑cloud environments)
