Join our growing Technology division as an R&D Consultant – AI Integration Specialist , where you will play a central role in developing our AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) and transforming how AI enables innovation across the energy industry.
This role is ideal for candidates with R&D, software delivery, or business analysis backgrounds who are excited about operationalizing AI across a global, distributed workforce—especially those with experience in Oil & Gas technology or energy digitalization .

What You’ll Do
Build and scale a network of AI Champions to drive widespread AI literacy and best‑practice usage across business units.
Deliver hands‑on AI training , including workshops, role‑based enablement, playbooks, tutorials, and office hours.
Provide expert guidance to end users adopting Microsoft 365 Copilot and generative AI tools.
Build AI Solutions & Prototypes
Develop proof‑of‑concepts (PoCs) to streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.
Create and iterate AI‑powered solutions using low‑code/no‑code , including Copilot Studio agents, grounded knowledge bases, and workflow automations.
Manage lifecycle activities: validation, testing, monitoring, and controlled updates.
Operationalize the AI Centre of Excellence
Stand up and run intake, triage, prioritization, and execution cycles for internal AI use cases.
Document standards, templates, SOPs, and “ways of working” for the AI CoE.
Coach teams on effective use of Git Hub Copilot for engineering workflows.
Run developer clinics, curate best practices, and support real‑world engineering scenarios.
Collaborate with governance and cybersecurity teams to ensure responsible use of AI with company data.
Contribute to business cases, gap analysis, AS‑IS vs. TO‑BE documentation, and AI value measurement.
Education & Experience
Degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering field (or equivalent).
3+ years supporting software delivery in an R&D or technical environment.
Experience delivering training, coaching, or enablement programs across distributed teams.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, prompt patterns, and real‑world use cases.
Experience with Copilot Studio or no‑code/low‑code AI platforms (Power Platform is an asset).
Familiarity with Git Hub and Git Hub copilot is an asset.
Oil & Gas or energy‑industry experience strongly preferred.
