Role
Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong functional expertise and end-to-end implementation experience. The candidate should have deep knowledge of SAP SD processes, strong integration understanding with other SAP modules, and the ability to work independently in global implementation, rollout, and support projects.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP SD Functional Responsibilities:
Lead and support end-to-end SAP SD processes
Configure and customize SAP SD modules:
Enterprise Structure (Sales Org, Distribution Channel, Division)
Sales Documents (Inquiry, Quotation, Sales Order, Contracts)
Delivery and Shipping
Billing and Invoicing
Manage pricing configuration:
Pricing procedures
Condition types, access sequences
Discounts, surcharges, taxes, rebates
Free goods, freight, and special pricing scenarios
Handle credit management (Classic & FSCM Credit Management)
Configure and support:
Output determination (NACE / BRF+)
Text determination
Partner determination
Copy control
Manage returns, cancellations, complaints, and debit/credit memo processes
Support intercompany sales, third-party sales, and drop shipment scenarios
Handle sales scheduling agreements and contracts
Logistics & Integration:
Strong integration knowledge with:
MM (Pricing, Availability Check, Third-Party Sales)
FI (Billing, Revenue Posting, Taxes, Credit Management)
WM / EWM (Delivery, Picking, Packing)
PP (Make-to-Order, ATP)
LE / TM (Shipping and Transportation)
Configure and manage:
ATP (Availability Check)
Shipping points and routes
Packing, Handling Units (HU)
Advanced SAP SD
Skills:
Experience with :
SAP S/4
HANA SD (Business Partner, Simplified Data Model)
SAP SD enhancements (User exits, BADIs, Enhancements)
IDocs (ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC)
Interfaces with third-party systems
Strong knowledge of:
Taxes (GST, VAT, Sales Tax, regional tax scenarios etc)
Output management in S/4
HANA
Exposure to:
Fiori apps related to SD
SD analytics and reporting
Project & Delivery Responsibilities:
Lead SAP SD implementations, rollouts, and upgrades
Conduct:
Business requirement gathering
Fit-Gap analysis
Functional design (FS) and solution documentation
Coordinate with technical teams for:
RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
Support:
Unit Testing (UT)
Integration Testing (IT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide production support, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance
Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with:
Business users
Cross-functional teams
Offshore and onsite teams
Act as a trusted advisor for SD-related business process improvements
Strong communication and documentation skills
Mandatory
Skills:
SAP SD configuration and customization
Pricing & Billing expertise
OTC process knowledge
Strong integration knowledge with MM and FI
S/4
HANA SD experience
Debugging and issue analysis
Excellent functional documentation skills
Good to Have:
SAP certification in SD or S/4
HANA
Experience in global rollout projects
Exposure to other SAP modules
Knowledge of EDI and middleware integrations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
