Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled SQL programmer enthusiastic to learn and contribute to full stack application engineering, primarily focusing on JavaScript applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL database, Tableau reports and Databricks workflows
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and modern libraries like Express and React.
- Actively involved in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning and requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, robust and scalable solutions.
- Clearly document new requirements and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer information systems or related field.
- Proven relevant work experience.
- Expert level knowledge in T‑SQL programming, performance optimisation and best practices.
- Foundational knowledge in JavaScript (ES6, strings, arrays, objects).
- Hands‑on experience in Azure PaaS services.
- Awareness of Databricks, Tableau (or other reporting tool), API, SPA, GIT or CI/CD.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate into technical solutions.
- Prioritisation, ownership and drive to completion.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills using data to make informed decisions.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team discussions.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Azure Dev Ops.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Working knowledge of MS Access, VBA and SSIS.
