Job Description:

We’re working with a well-established Managed IT Service Provider, supporting a portfolio of professional clients across London. They’re looking to add a personable, client-facing 2nd Line Support Engineer to their team.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, values face-to-face client interaction, and wants to develop within a Microsoft-centric environment supported by senior engineers from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

(2-5 years experience operating as 1st Line Support and 2nd Line Support)

  • Acting as escalation point for 1st line support engineers
  • Logging, triaging and resolving 1st and 2nd line support (more complex) issues
  • Basic troubleshooting across Microsoft technologies
  • Occasional client site visits to resolve issues in person (hybrid role requiring 3 days a week on client visits or in office and 2 days a week working from home).
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft O365
  • Active Directory
  • Windows 11
  • Experience working in an MSP environment.

  • Comfortable attending customer sites when required
  • Someone who can “hold their own” in client-facing situations
  • A genuine interest in developing technical and customer-facing skills
Desirable (not essential):
  • Exposure to Networking or Security
  • Hybrid working (office / client sites approx. 3 days, home 2 days)
  • Fully funded Microsoft funded certifications
  • Annual leave 21 days rising to 25 days + bank holidays
