We are looking for a Global SEO Specialist!

As part of our digital marketing team, you will manage and optimize our Organic Search performance across our platforms and markets. You will be part of the digital marketing team in Europe, responsible for all digital activities in the EU for A-brands such as Maxi-Cosi, Bebeconfort, and Tiny Love. In your role, however, you will have a global scope.

Your mission
As the SEO guru, you will lead our organic growth. You will develop an ambitious SEO strategy from technical, content, and link profile aspects. You are responsible for ensuring that the right SEO markers/tags are in place and used correctly, making the website's infrastructure SEO friendly. You will collaborate with our IT teams on the technical aspects and drive content optimizations with our in-house EU content team, ensuring content uses the right keywords.

You will liaise with our digital colleagues across regions to improve SEO performance and optimize our link profile with external agencies.

This position is based in Helmond, the Netherlands, which is our European headquarters. We allow partly remote working, and due to the global scope, working hours will be more flexible.

• Be the frontrunner in the organization to drive all SEO topics for primarily our owned platforms, and secondarily act as a consultant for content optimizations on various e-Commerce platforms.
• Ensure we rank highest for our most important topics and keywords, optimizing our organic traffic.
• Take responsibility for SEO-proofed infrastructure (code, speed, tags, URL structure, etc.).
• Conduct regular keyword research to identify keyword opportunities to integrate into our digital content strategy.
• Oversee SEO KPIs & Reporting by identifying relevant KPIs and setting up reports within the organization.
• Ensure SEO-proofed redirects & migration at each site migration (301, domain names).
• Build internal links in a relevant way for users, following their journeys and brand objectives.
• Develop external linking by training and supporting colleagues on e-PR & Linkbait, identifying referral opportunities, and disavowing low-quality links.
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills, building and maintaining good relationships with internal & external stakeholders. You will monitor performance as a digital marketing team on a monthly basis and have quarterly sessions with our markets, adapting your communication to various levels of digital knowledge.

You will report directly to Kristal Oehlen, Digital Marketing Manager.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as an SEO specialist (agency or client-side).
• Google AdWords & Analytics are second nature to you.
• You are familiar with SEO tools like SEMRush and Screaming Frog.
• You possess analytical skills, are accurate, and result-driven.
• Strong persuasive and presentation skills to engage stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A can-do mentality and a great team player.
