What You’ll Do as a Technology Delivery Manager

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Led the end‑to‑end delivery of a major, business‑critical transformation across people, process and technology, aligned to Customer Availability objectives.
  • Owned full project delivery including scope, timelines, milestones, resource planning and management of critical dependencies.
  • Established and governed robust delivery frameworks, with strong risk, issue and escalation management to ensure on‑time, high‑quality outcomes.
  • Engaged and influenced senior Primark stakeholders and third‑party vendors to drive alignment, commitment and delivery momentum.
  • Directed multi‑functional internal and external teams, ensuring clear accountability, transparent progress tracking, KPI reporting and budget control.
  • Embedded change management, communication and training into delivery while championing the Primark delivery methodology and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring

  • Degree‑educated with 10+ years’ Project/Programme Management experience delivering complex, large‑scale technology and business transformations, ideally within a Retail environment.
  • Strong delivery of technology‑enabled change, including SaaS configuration, systems integration, deployment, and end‑to‑end implementation.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience across all testing phases (ST, SIT, E2E and performance testing), as well as cutover, go‑live and post‑implementation support.
  • Proven expertise in process redesign, operating model change, and pragmatic application of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong track record of influencing senior leaders, managing cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors.
  • Commercially astute leader with strong resource planning, budget management on multi‑million‑pound programmes, high resilience, emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style.
