The Role
As a Digital Technical Officer within the Place Support Team, you will support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our digital content and platforms. You will help ensure our online presence is accurate, accessible and engaging, supporting Place priorities and enabling effective customer journeys.
Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, Systems colleagues and external suppliers, you will contribute to the delivery and improvement of digital services that meet user needs and evolve over time.
Key Responsibilities
Create and develop online content including engaging and informative text, images and multimedia.
Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on web policies, techniques and best practice to ensure all online content adheres to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Monitor and moderate digital interactions on our online platforms, answer queries from customer-facing colleagues and support continuous improvement.
Gather data and perform customer analysis for regular reporting to support digital project design and benefits tracking. In this role, you will play a key role in coordinating digital content and supporting colleagues to deliver effective, user‑focused online services.
Shortlisting Criteria
In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills:
Significant experience of creating and developing accessible web content.
Strong ability to provide advice and guidance on web policies, techniques and best practices.
Experience of producing high quality reports and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
Track record of proposing and delivering improvements through feedback and analysis findings.
