Job DetailsJob Title: AWS Engineer
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and other core services.
- Implement and maintain identity, access management, and network configurations (IAM, VPC).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues utilizing AWS Cloud Watch and related tools.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks.
- Ensure robust security practices and compliance across all cloud operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Proven expertise with AWS core services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Cloud Watch.
- Solid foundation in Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash).
- Experience developing automation with Python.
- Deep understanding of network basics and cloud security best practices.
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative, remote setting.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
- Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting capacity.
- Background in designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems in AWS environments.
