Description

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and CRM systems? We’re looking for someone who can help maintain high-quality data and support its effective use to enhance student recruitment across the University.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and helping others make better use of information.

About the role

Reporting to the Student Recruitment Analytics and Insight Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and improving data within the University’s CRM system (Salesforce). You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Marketing and Communications directorate and IT to ensure data is accurate, compliant, and supports targeted recruitment activity.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and managing day-to-day data in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality
  • Monitoring data quality and resolving issues such as duplicates or missing information
  • Supporting reporting across Student Recruitment, including campaign performance and operational insights
  • Working with colleagues to improve how data is used in recruitment activities and decision-making
  • Documenting processes, identifying improvements, and delivering training to support better data use
  • Ensuring data is handled in line with GDPR and relevant data protection standards

This role is primarily campus-based, with an expectation to be on-site four days per week. Some flexibility for home working is available, but you should be willing to attend campus regularly to meet business needs.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

  • Experience working with databases or CRM systems (Salesforce experience is desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data
  • A good understanding of data protection principles, including GDPR
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data, and communicate insights clearly
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively
