Who We Are

At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.

About the Opportunity

This role sits under Globalization, covering language quality, local UX, content performance and generation, and product readiness for the Arabic market. We're looking for someone who treats localization as a product discipline, not a translation function, and who is hands‑on with AI tooling in the localization workflow.

We're looking for an experienced Arabic Language Manager to join our Globalization team. You'll own the end‑to‑end Arabic user experience — language quality, local UX, content performance, and product readiness — making sure Arabic‑speaking users get a product that feels native, not translated.

You'll also be an early adopter and optimizer of AI tooling in the localization workflow. Our team is actively building AI‑assisted pipelines (prompt‑based QA, AI content production, MT post‑editing), and we expect every Language Manager to be comfortable applying, refining, and evaluating AI in their daily work.

The position requires a strategic mind, well‑versed in localization best practices, fluent in AI/LLM tools, excellent communication abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering superior localized user experiences that translate into measurable business impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Language quality & local UX:
Lead language quality initiatives for Arabic; conducting localization reviews, UX testing, and identifying linguistic, functional, and cultural discrepancies to ensure an optimal local product experience.
  • AI‑assisted localization:
Apply and refine LLM prompts and AI workflows to drive language quality, terminology consistency, and efficiency across Arabic content. Document and share prompt learnings with the team. Evaluate AI output quality systematically and flag issues.
  • Cross‑signal quality:
Connect localization output to content performance and SEO signals in the Arabic market, turning user feedback and market data into measurable improvements in acquisition, conversion, and engagement.
  • Cross‑functional partnership:
Partner with Product, Design, Content System, Engineering, Marketing, and SEO to influence upstream decisions, ensuring Arabic users get a fully localized experience (not just translated strings), including RTL behavior, cultural appropriateness, dialect/MSA tone choices, and content readiness.
  • Project leadership:
Lead Arabic localization projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders and external vendors to align on goals, timelines, and quality bars.
  • Customer advocacy:
Champion Arabic‑speaking users by researching, gathering, and synthesizing customer feedback. Offer insights on UI, UX, content, and design to enhance the local user experience.
  • Vendor management:
Work with the team to assess language service providers and freelancers; delivering feedback, training, and performance management to uphold high‑quality standards.
  • Asset governance:
Maintain Arabic translation assets (style guide, glossary, translation memory) and ensure they evolve with the product and the market.
  • Market intelligence:
Engage cross‑functional teams with insights on Arabic market potential; identifying opportunities, threats, and competitor activities by segment/country within the region to inform strategic decisions.
  • Brand voice:
Ensure all localized content adheres to global brand guidelines while maintaining a distinct Arabic brand tone that resonates with the local market and drives engagement and conversion.
What We Look For In You
  • Native fluency in Arabic and business proficiency in English.
  • BA or equivalent in translation, linguistics, content marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Arabic translation, localization, or LQA, with a proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience conducting localization reviews, testing, and managing language quality initiatives for Arabic‑speaking markets.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI/LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, MT engines) in localization workflows,…
