Position: Remote Econometrics Instructor for AI Training (Flexible)

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced econometrics instructors and quantitative economists to help evaluate and improve cutting‑edge AI systems. Your deep knowledge of statistical modeling and economic reasoning will directly shape how AI understands and explains some of the most technically demanding content in the field.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your own schedule while contributing to AI research that matters.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and validate econometric questions, models, and explanations used in AI training datasets
  • Assess statistical accuracy, underlying assumptions, and interpretation of quantitative results
  • Identify errors, logical gaps, and edge cases in AI-generated economic reasoning
  • Provide clear, structured feedback to improve model outputs and explanations
  • Apply your real‑world teaching experience to evaluate whether content is both technically correct and pedagogically sound
  • Work independently and asynchronously to complete task‑based assignments on your own schedule
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience teaching econometrics, quantitative economics, or a closely related field
  • Strong command of regression analysis, causal inference, time series, and statistical methodology
  • Able to clearly evaluate and articulate quantitative reasoning — both what's correct and what's not
  • Comfortable working with structured, technical content in a remote environment
  • Self‑motivated and reliable with strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
  • Master’s or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Hands‑on experience with statistical software such as R, Stata, or Python
  • Prior exposure to AI model evaluation, annotation, or data labeling workflows
