Tangem solutions offer multi-support of a growing number of thousands of tokens by a single wallet. SBI Crypto Investment Ltd., the digital asset venture investment company wholly owned by SBI Holdings Inc., has invested $15 million into Tangem in 2019 for mass adoption of blockchain technology.

We are looking for a commercially-minded Legal Counsel to partner closely with our Growth and Product teams. You will play a key role in enabling new product launches and revenue initiatives while ensuring that legal and regulatory risks are clearly understood and appropriately managed.

This role sits at the intersection of product innovation, regulatory strategy, and global expansion
, and requires strong judgment in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

• Advise Product and Growth teams on legal and regulatory implications of new features, campaigns, and monetization strategies
• Provide clear, actionable guidance to enable fast and informed decision-making
• Balance business objectives with legal risk
  , offering practical solutions rather than blockers

• Conduct regulated activity mapping across jurisdictions (crypto, payments, tokenised assets, custody, etc.)
• Assess legal classification of products and features in different markets
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies (e.g., geo-fencing, feature adjustments, marketing restrictions)
• Monitor and interpret global regulatory developments

• Define go-to-market legal strategies across key jurisdictions
• Support licensing strategy and regulatory positioning where applicable
• Advise on cross-border structuring and market entry approaches

• Review and negotiate key commercial agreements (partners, resellers, distributors, KOLs)
• Advise on distribution models
  , including indirect channels and community-driven growth
• Support structuring of partnerships and third-party relationships

• Build and maintain product risk assessment frameworks
• Establish legal governance processes for Growth and Product decisions
• Define escalation paths for high-risk initiatives

• Support development of privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR and global equivalents)
• Ensure marketing and product flows align with data protection and consumer laws
• Collaborate with Compliance on AML and regulatory requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services regulation
• Strong experience in:
• Regulatory strategy and licensing
• Product legal and risk assessment
• Proven ability to work in high-growth, fast-changing environments
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
