This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and data. Your insights will directly influence how millions of Europeans discover and stay with Basic-Fit. As Senior Data Analyst, you will own the analytics domain for the Marketing department and act as the primary data partner to marketing leadership, shaping strategy through data. You will mentor 3 analysts across acquisition, retention and service value streams and bring data and insights across those teams together.
You will support marketing decisions across 6 markets, analysing millions of membership interactions to help grow and retain 4M+ members across Europe.

You are an analytics business partner who translates complex data into decisions. You work closely with marketing leadership, turning large-scale data into clear insights that shape campaigns, marketing investments, and growth strategy.
Primary responsibilities (ownership & impact)- Own the analytics domain for Marketing connecting Acquisition, Retention and Service.
- Act as the primary data partner to marketing leadership to translate large-scale data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Communicate insights through clear storytelling and executive-level presentations.
- Support marketing investment, proposition and pricing decisions across 6 European markets.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Support advanced analytics such as marketing mix modeling and forecasting.
- Partner with data engineers to improve data models and data availability.
- Mentor analysts and help elevate analytics maturity within the marketing team.
Core capabilities
- Strong SQL for large-scale data analysis.
- Proven data visualization and automated reporting experience in data analytics tools (preferrably Power
BI). - Experience translating marketing data into business insights.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders through data storytelling.
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or statistical modelling.
- Experience in subscription, digital, or consumer businesses.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics or experimentation.
You will work in a collaborative and modern data organization:
Dedicated Data Platform team managing the platform, Modern BI stack (Databricks, Power BI, scalable cloud infrastructure), 6 analysts in the broader analytics organization of which 3 in the marketing department.
