Senior Service Now Technical Consultant – Sec Ops (SIR/VR)
UK-Based | Remote with Occasional Onsite | Security Clearance Eligible
Wrangu is looking for a Senior Service Now Technical Consultant to join our UK Team. You'll lead the technical delivery of SIR and VR implementations for global clients, working as a trusted advisor and mentor to junior consultants across a growing UK portfolio. It's a hands‑on role that requires both deep platform expertise and strong client‑facing skills.
Day to day you’ll:- Lead technical delivery of Sec Ops implementations, with a focus on SIR and VR modules
- Run client workshops (onsite and remote) to understand challenges and co‑design solutions
- Translate requirements into scalable platform configurations aligned to Service Now best practices and Now Create methodology
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing clear direction and risk guidance to clients
- Mentor and oversee Technical Consultants, maintaining quality across agile project delivery
- Drive documentation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- UK residency and eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) – eligibility is what matters and we’ll support the process
- Service Now Certified System Administrator
- At least one Implementation Specialist certification in SIR or VR
- Solid hands‑on experience in Service Now consulting, ideally client‑facing (typically 3+ years in platform work)
- Hands‑on configuration and scripting skills (JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Policies)
- Deep subject matter knowledge in Security Incident Response and/or Vulnerability Response
- Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Comfortable managing priorities across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
- A voice in a fast‑growing consultancy – your expertise will shape delivery, not just support it
- Competitive salary reflecting market conditions, company pension, and healthcare (country dependent)
- Remote working allowance and office equipment allowance
- 25 days holiday, your birthday off, pet leave, a personal day, study leave, and flexible leave options
- A genuinely international, low‑bureaucracy environment with real career development
- The chance to work on the number one cloud platform in the data privacy, risk, compliance, and security space
Please note that criminal, financial, and employment background checks are standard for this role due to the nature of the UK project environment.
