Are you ready to take the lead in shaping a cutting-edge data function for a mission-driven organisation? We’re working with a pioneering client in the social impact investment space that is looking for its first Data & Analytics Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a unique opportunity to design and implement an analytic data platform that will transform how the organisation uses data to drive decision‑making and deliver meaningful impact. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in enabling data‑driven insights across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain an analytic data platform and data pipelines to ensure reliable, accessible data.
• Design and implement data architecture and modelling, working closely with IT and AI specialists.
• Develop ingestion and integration pipelines from operational systems, APIs, and external feeds.
• Create transformation pipelines and publish cleaned datasets for analysts and self‑service users.
• Support governance, data quality, and cost monitoring across the platform.
• Contribute to organisational training and documentation to foster a strong data culture.

What we’re looking for:

• Deep knowledge of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT, data modelling, and governance.
• Significant experience with cloud data infrastructure (ideally Azure/Fabric).
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Ability to leverage generative AI safely and effectively.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Passion for using data to drive positive change.

Desirable: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and AI technologies; familiarity with financial or investment data.
