Platform Engineer (Microsoft Fabric Azure) London to £130k

Are you a technologist Platform Engineer with Hedge Fund experience?

You could be progressing your career at a small, Alternative Investment Fund, working across cloud infrastructure, data platforms and Microsoft technologies to support critical trading, risk and reporting systems. You'll have a broad, hands‑on role combining data engineering, Azure infrastructure management and operational support within a modern Microsoft ecosystem.

• Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, Pipelines and Lake houses
• Support a bronze-silver-gold data architecture and optimise Power BI semantic models
• Manage and enhance Azure and Microsoft 365 infrastructure, including ADLS Gen2, Azure AD, networking, security and integrations
• Monitor cloud services, troubleshoot incidents and drive platform reliability and performance
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Fabric
• Improve automation, observability, scalability and operational efficiency across the environment

You’ll join the team in the London office, with flexibility to work from home once a week.

• You have experience within small / scale‑up Hedge Fund / Investment Management environments
• You have experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft 365
• You have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data engineering and platform operations
• You have experience with Power BI, Azure Storage, Data Lakes and pipeline orchestration
• You have a good working knowledge of security, access management, monitoring and disaster recovery
• You have strong troubleshooting skills
• You’re collaborative and pragmatic with strong stakeholder management skills

• Salary to £130k
