About
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, Professional Services to join us in Bengaluru.
This role sits within our Professional Services team and will help lead client-facing implementations of Equi Lend Spire, our securities finance platform. You will work directly with clients and internal Product, Engineering and QA teams to understand client operating models, translate requirements into delivery plans, manage implementation detail and support successful rollout.
This is a hands-on senior business analysis and product implementation role. It would suit someone who has owned work streams across client-facing technology implementations and can bring structure, judgement and delivery focus to complex workflows, integrations and stakeholder needs.
What You'll Do
Own product implementation work streams for new clients, including planning, requirements, delivery tracking, readiness and issue resolution.
Lead client discussions to understand operating models, workflow requirements, integration needs and implementation priorities.
Translate complex client requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery decisions.
Partner with Product teams to confirm expected platform behaviour, clarify roadmap dependencies and align client needs with product capability.
Work closely with Engineering and QA so that requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and data validation needs are understood before delivery.
Analyse client trading, post-trade, settlement, collateral, billing, regulatory or books and records workflows to identify dependencies, risks and implementation considerations.
Use SQL and data analysis techniques to investigate, validate and explain implementation data issues where required.
Support implementation testing by reviewing test coverage, validating outputs, tracking defects and coordinating resolution across teams.
Maintain clear project visibility across actions, risks, dependencies, decisions, milestones and stakeholder updates.
Communicate progress, blockers and implementation risks to internal and client stakeholders in a timely and practical way.
Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and stand-ups, using tools such as Jira.
Improve Professional Services delivery standards by contributing to implementation templates, documentation quality and repeatable delivery processes.
What we're looking for
7+ years' experience in business analysis, product implementation, Professional Services delivery, client onboarding, software delivery or a comparable role, within financial services technology or capital markets.
Practical experience owning client-facing technology implementation or onboarding work streams.
Strong understanding of capital markets, securities finance, securities lending, post-trade, collateral, settlement, regulatory reporting, billing or books and records workflows.
Experience gathering, analysing and documenting complex business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria and implementation decisions.
Working knowledge of systems integrations and data mapping, including how data moves between client systems, vendor platforms and internal applications.
Ability to use SQL to query, investigate or validate data as part of implementation, integration or testing activity.
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering and QA teams to clarify requirements, review delivery outputs and resolve implementation issues.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira for backlog management, story tracking and delivery visibility.
Strong project tracking skills, with the ability to organise milestones, actions, risks, dependencies and stakeholder updates across multiple work streams.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain requirements, risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
Sound judgement, ownership and a practical client-focused approach to keeping complex delivery work moving.
