Senior IT Content Developer
We are seeking a Senior IT Content Developer to support ZS Enterprise IT communications and knowledge management initiatives. This role focuses on creating, optimizing, and governing high-quality, user-centric IT contenton an intranet
SharePoint platform. The role will work closely with Technical Assistance Center (TAC/IT Helpdesk), engineering teams, and program owners to improve self-service adoption and reduce support volume.
What you'll do:
Senior IT Content Developer in the Enterprise will…
Own end-to-end lifecycle of IT Knowledge Base (ITKB) content including creation, updates, governance and archival
Partner closely with TAC to analyze tickets, identify content gaps, and proactively create resolution-driven articles
Drive standardization of IT communications (KBs, announcements, guides, newsletters, templates)
Translate complex technical workflows (AVD, MFA) into user-friendly content
Work with tools such as PowerPoint, Loop, Word , and SharePoint in the M365 ecosystem to publish and maintain content
Develop structured, searchable, reusable content aligned to enterprise taxonomy and metadata standards
Contribute to IT programs (e.g., migrations, rollouts) with communication plans, user guides, and FAQs
Use analytics (ticket trends, search behavior) to continuously improve content effectiveness
Ensure adherence to ZS branding, tone, and communication standards
What you'll bring:
BS/BA in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study required.
3+ years of technical content development experience.
Fluent in M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook , SharePoint ), calendar management, email systems
Strong technical writing and editing skills (enterprise IT context preferred)
Experience with Visio or other process flow visualization tools
Hands-on experience with M365 tools like PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word etc
Ability to understand IT systems (networking, endpoints, cloud apps) and document clearly
Experience working with support teams and ticketing workflows
Fluency in English
