Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Partner – DPDPA & Consent Management Solutions, based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work.

The role involves identifying and developing business opportunities for DPDPA compliance services and Consent Management Platform implementations. You will engage with CXOs, Legal, Compliance, IT, Information Security, and Product teams to understand their privacy compliance requirements and position tailored solutions.

You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting discovery discussions, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, delivering presentations and demonstrations, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving revenue growth. The role also includes collaborating with consulting and implementation teams to ensure successful client onboarding and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities for DPDPA compliance and Consent Management Platform solutions.

* Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers including CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Compliance Officers, Legal Heads, and Data Protection stakeholders.

* Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and compliance awareness sessions.

* Develop customized proposals and solution presentations aligned with client requirements.

* Drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting and qualification to contract closure.

* Collaborate with consulting and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and client success.

* Maintain a strong understanding of DPDPA requirements, consent management obligations, and emerging privacy regulations.

* Represent Comply Planet at industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking forums.

* Contribute to strategic partnerships and channel development initiatives.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Consulting Sales, or Partnership Development.

* Strong understanding of data privacy, DPDPA, consent management, governance, risk, and compliance concepts.

* Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

* Ability to independently manage sales pipelines and achieve revenue targets.

* Strong business acumen and consultative selling capabilities.

* Knowledge of Consent Management Platforms, privacy technology solutions, SaaS products, or regulatory compliance services is highly desirable.

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Existing network within enterprise, startup, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or technology sectors is an advantage.

Compensation Structure:
Revenue-sharing, performance incentives, equity participation, or fixed-plus-variable compensation can be structured based on experience and contribution.
